Engineering Utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) for Tooling Design and Internal Plant Engineering Functions.  Mercer Forge Corporation Staff has Pioneered Microalloy and Unique Design Concepts for Prolonging the Life of Dies: Ultimately Providing the Customer More Uniform Dimensional Characteristics and Longer Die Life.

 

Product Design to Convert Both Products in Terms of Function as well as Conversion of Materials Plays a Major Role for the Engineering Staff.  Complete Product Design has been Utilized for Some Customers as well as Modified Designs to Help Utilize the Value of a Forged Part for their End Use.

 

Microalloy Forgings Save Thousands of Dollars Due to Better Machine-ability and a Direct Reduction of Heat Treat Costs.  Conversion of Products from Bar Stock or Heavy Wall Tubing Saves Customers Large Inventory Costs and Machine Time.
